The men and women of the Lummi Island Fire Department are professional volunteers who strive to protect the community from fires, injuries, and other emergencies. We are a volunteer full-service fire department providing a range of emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens of Lummi Island and our community.

The Lummi Island Fire Department strives to provide the highest level of life and property protection services through an aggressive and progressive fire control system, an integrated county wide pre-hospital care system, fire prevention, public education, and emergency management.

We provide suppression and prevention programs, expeditious pre-hospital care, and effective scene management. We will stand ready to support and assist other fire service organizations in accomplishing their missions.
